Business scope includes Intelligent robot research and development; New material technology research and development; Intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturing; Civil aircraft pilot training and more R&D projects.
Shareholder information shows that the company is wholly owned by Beijing Sankuai Technology Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Meituan.
According to public information, Meituan launched the exploration of UAV delivery scenarios in 2017. The company is committed to building a low-altitude logistics network of 3 kilometers and 15 minutes of delivery. Now, Meituan has completed preliminary research and development of autonomous UAVs, automated airport, and UAV dispatching system.
It is worth mentioning that Meituan developed over 90% of the fundamental components of its low-altitude logistics network on its own.
